Dear Peeps,
I have really enjoyed my rice cooker! It has a steamer component, so I have been able to very easily make steamed brown rice and veggies. Oh my! Do you like rutabaga? I think it’s one of those things that maybe you love or you hate. I LOVE them! And I love steamed carrots. I know I need to eat more veggies than I do. My juicer broke. Finally wore completely out! I have been looking for a new one while trying to steam more veggies in the meantime.
I have been pairing and layering prints and polka dots and all manner of stuff! Spring makes my heart sing!

It’s time to get some real-time vitamin D by the pool. Well, almost. Got a month yet, I guess. I love working at home and being able to spend my lunch sitting in the sunshine, reading or just napping. I am so spoiled at this point, I am not sure I could work anywhere but home! Did I say that recently! I think I did!
Of course, spring brings storms, and we have had some big ones lately! This was a gorgeous double rainbow recently, occurring right before a storm. One side of the sky was dark, the other was bright, and there were drops of rain in the air. You can barely, BARELY see the second rainbow in this picture, but it is there.
I am very happy with life, one day at a time. I am careful not to overdose on news lately. WOW. Turning on the news is like, well, I don’t know what! I believe I need to keep up with things, but I try and take it in small doses. I read something encouraging every night before bedtime. I continue to journal, though I have a hard time doing it like I know I should! There is something very therapeutic about in-depth journaling. I manage to get at least a sentence in every day. Napping is important, but I don’t do that as much as I’d like! There is one on the horizon today, however.
How are all of you? Are your gardens growing? I know they must be. Some day I will have a little space outside. A ride through town today had me looking at retail spots for rent, thinking that some day, yes, I will have a little shop with a garden in front! It is totally do-able! Are you getting sun? Warm weather?
